Occupation is any activity that a person engages in, and is meaningful to them. This can include self-care, play, and leisure activities, and work. For a child, "work" often involves playing, learning, and going to school.
Occupational therapists are highly trained medical professionals who evaluate, promote and treat children and adults who have difficulty participating in meaningful activities, or "occupations", relevant to their daily lives.
Pediatric physical therapists are highly trained professionals that specialize in developing a child’s physical ability to reach their maximum potential. They focus on gross motor development through movement, strength, and endurance to meet functional independence. A pediatric physical therapist helps children meet their developmental milestones, achieve quality movements, and safely navigate their environment.
We strive to provide exceptional occupational therapy and physical therapy to every child. We provide services in-home, clinic-based or in-school, depending on your child's needs and/or your preference.
